Periodicals of the Russian and Ukrainian emigration transformed into the digital form
The part of the unique collection of Russian and Ukrainian emigration published in Czechoslovakia during 1918-1945 was transformed into the digital form with the support of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and is accessible at CD-R. 180 titles were chosen for digital processing (103 periodicals published by Ukrainian emigrants and 77 periodicals published by Russian emigrants). Selection was made by several aspects: preserve unique titles (periodicals published for a short term or irregularly) and preserve those periodicals which would come under destruction in the original form anyway. These titles are available only in digital form for protection of the collection.
