Conditions
These conditions apply to online payments via the GP webpay service in the National Library of the Czech Republic at https://platby.nkp.cz and define and specify the rights and obligations of the library and its users. Everything else is governed by the Rules and regulations of the National Library. All financial benefits are stated in Czech crowns (CZK), the library is not a VAT payer. These conditions apply as stated on the library's website. By paying, the user unconditionally accepts all provisions of these conditions and is irrevocably bound by them.
Complaints procedure
All complaints are made in accordance with the Grievances - Part 9 of the Rules and regulations of the National Library, which is an integral part of the Rules and regulations of the National Library.
Delivery costs
There are no costs associated with the delivery of the product or service.
Shipping and payment
Online payments for the National Library of the Czech Republic are provided by the GP webpay payment gateway. The service provider, Global Payments s.r.o., is a licensed payment institution operating under the supervision of the Czech National Bank. Payments made through the payment gateway are fully secured and all information is encrypted.
Credit card payment
The fastest way to pay online. In the GP webpay payment gateway interface, enter the card number, validity date and CVC code - three numbers, which you will find in the signature strip on the back of the card. Everything is secured by the 3D Secure standard, so you will probably be asked to enter a numeric code, which you will receive from your bank in an SMS message.
Payment using digital wallets Google Pay and Apple Pay
In order to make a payment via Google Pay, the customer clicks the “G Pay” button and a page containing information for the customer is displayed (see Picture No. 3). After pressing the “Pay” button, the customer logs in into his/her Google account and chooses which of the stored cards he/she wants to use to make the payment. The payment may require the 3D Secure security including cardholder authentication by the issuer.
Apple Pay provides an easy and secure way to pay on iOS, watchOS, and iPadOS devices in the app and Safari browser, and on MacOS devices in Safari browser. Apple Pay uses device specific tokenized credit or debit payment cards (DPAN). When the customer confirms the payment using Face ID, Touch ID or access code, tokenized cards data are processed as standard online card payment.
After completing the payment, you will be redirected back to the library website. Payment is confirmed immediately.
